A Small Love Story..

7 Years Back, in the beautiful town of Dehradun, there lived a group of friends. Daksh, Tarun, Karan, Sheela and Bhavana were in their final year of schooling. They were quite notorius but at the same time, they never neglected their studies. This was the reason they were their teachers favourite. All of them were very kind and helpful to everyone. They were well known in their locality for their pranks but more due to their helpful deeds.

This was the last and final year of their schooling. They didnt knew what life had kept for them in the future. They were not sure if they would meet again in the future or not and hence, they decided to have the best time of their life this year and take away with them the sweetest memories for their whole life time. They met each day, played, partied, enjoyed every little thing in life.

Karan and Sheela used to stay in a hostel as their parents were not in India. They eventually started spending more time with each other than with others. Karan started to care a lot about Sheela. He saw some king of sparks near him whenever he saw Sheela. He could imagine hearing the violin and people dancing. The time almost stopped. Everything used to be in slow motion and every minute seemed to be like ages. May be this was the result of watching ROMANTIC BOLLYWOOD MOVIES excessively. He was not sure what this feeling was. He thought he was hopelessly falling in love with Sheela. Without much thinking, he went to Sheela and conveyed his feelings to her. She had a similar kind of feeling for Karan and they thought that it was love that had taken over them. They decided not to inform about this to their other friends as they were not sure what their friends would react like after listening to all this. On the other hand, Daksh had a similar feeling for the very charming and beautiful Bhavana but did not have enough guts to go and let the truth out to her. He feared loosing her and also his other friends. He consoled himself saying that this was the last year they were together and the feeling would be gone soon.

Soon, the exams commenced. The friends helped each other and they all passed with a very great percentage. Daksh had topped the school with a percentage of 97% which was a great achievement for him. Everyone was really happy with their own percentage and also for Daksh's achievement. Few days after the results were out, Daksh's parents informed him that they would be shifting their locality due to various reasons. Daksh was initially very sad as he would have to leave his old friends. He informed this to his friends. That was the first time these guys thought about their lives seriously. Everyone was silent for a few minutes. They didnt have words. They were afraid of loosing their friends they din want to go. They wanted time to stop here so that they all could always stay together and enjoy as they used to. But they were matured enough to understand that life has to go on. Unlike every other kid who promised to meet up everyday, they promised not to meet each other unless life really wanted them to meet.

Daksh shifted to a new locality. He had no idea about his old friends and their lives. All he knew was that Karan and Sheela had shifted to Delhi in some University, Tarun and Bhavana joined two different local inter colleges. Daksh had joined a college in his new locality. He soon made new friends. He was now more inclined towards his studies and so were his new friends. He wished to pursue engineering and hence worked really hard for it.

Time passed away very quickly and soon, Daksh completed his intermediate. Even this time, he got a very good score and was among the top 10 students from his state. He did recall his old friends but thought that now, he would never ever meet them again. He was happy that the feelings he had for Bhavana had finally suppressed and he now dreamed of a beautiful life in the Delhi College Of Engineering which was once his dream. But life had some different plans for him.

His father was not keeping well these days and he was the only son to his parents. His mother was were afraid and asked him to stay with them. He was very upset as he did not want to give up his dreams so easily but at the same time, he didnt want to leave his parents in this state. He finally decided to stay with them in Dehradun and joined a local college there. They shifted back to their previous locality and there, he met his old friend Tarun.

Tarun and Bhavana were in the same college pursing their B.A. and Daksh joined an Engineering College. They started meeting again as they used to. They spent time together and enjoyed a lot. The old feelings that Daksh had for Bhavana were coming out of the small corner of his heart where he had supposedly hid them forever. This time, these feelings were stronger and more powerful than ever. Daksh could neither sleep nor concentrate on anything. He didnt like Bhavana talking to anyone except him and when he was with her, he would forget the rest of the world. He always thought of Bhavana where ever he was or what ever he was doing. He could go and tell these things directly neither to Bhavana nor to Tarun as he was too afraid of loosing them this time. He slapped himself, tried to explain himself, he did whatever he could but could not control his feelings. As days passed by, he started to loose control over his feelings. He didnt get any sleep and eventually, he started taking pills to at least have the minimum amount of sleep required by a human. (To Be Contd...)
